Linkedroid ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Linkedroid – The LinkedIn™ Helper Chrome browser extension (the "Extension"). This Privacy Policy explains precisely what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, and the choices you have as a user.

We are committed to minimal data collection. We only collect what is strictly necessary to authenticate you and operate the Extension.

1. Data We Collect

Minimal Collection

1.1 Email Address (Authentication Only)

The only personal data we collect is your email address. This is collected when you register for or log into the Linkedroid Extension via our website (linkedroid.com).

  • Keystrokes, form inputs, or clipboard content
  • IP address or device identifiers
  • Phone numbers, physical addresses, or any government-issued identifiers
  • Financial or payment information (handled entirely by our payment processor)
  • Cookies from LinkedIn or any third-party site
  • Any data from LinkedIn pages beyond what your own browser already fetches to render those pages

The Extension operates locally inside your browser. All LinkedIn automation actions (sending connection requests, messages, etc.) are performed directly by your browser on your behalf. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used solely for the following purposes:

3.1 Where Data is Stored

Your email address is stored in our secure backend database hosted on servers in the United States. Access to this database is restricted to authorised Linkedroid personnel and protected by industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/HTTPS).

3.2 Local Extension Storage

The Extension stores a minimal authentication token (session token) in your browser's local chrome.storage.local. This token is used only to keep you logged in between browser sessions. It does not contain any LinkedIn data. You can clear it at any time by logging out of the Extension or uninstalling it.
